[SLE] SuSE 10.1 and ATI Mobility Radeon X1400

Hi There,
Im a first time SuSE user (long time linux 'user') and have installed
10.1 on my Toshiba Tecra A6, which has a Mobility Radeon X1400 card. I
have the drivers installed and working as expected... but am having
some trouble getting multiple monitors setup.
Is there any one who has this setup and working correctly, or is this
not the place to discuss?
I am trying to get it running so that i have the external LCD monitor
running at 1280x1024 and the main laptop monitor off... I just cant
seem to get this working with any tools that are available (ATI or
otherwise).
