I am trying to upgrade a Redhat 9 with a Adaptec SCI card for
the tape drive. The tape drive worked properly under RH9 as
early as this morning. The install went OK, but now it cannot
boot.
During the SuSE boot, it takes 10 minutes per channel, trying
them all and give the following errors:
scsi 0:0:3:0 attempting to queue an ABORT message
CDB: 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0
aic7xxx_abort returns 0x2002
It starts with 0:0:0:0 and goes to 0:0:15:0
Then after the 15 channels, SuSE hangs.
Any suggestion?
