Dear List,
Just a quick heads-up on the new nvidia driver, x86_64-1.0-8762.
I just recently installed 10.1 on my home box, AMD x86_64, GeForce FX5700
ULtra, with a Nokia 445Xi+ monitor. To my surprise the latest nvidia
driver did not perform. I was unable to get 1600x1200 resolution at 16.7
mio. colors and 3D acceleration to work. Only going back to the previous
nvidia driver, x86_64-1.0-8756, got my system back in the shape it used to
be for the past several years.
Best regards, Alex.
