I use SuSE 9.3 and apt-get, may be you should try downloading the codecs
if I try apt-cache search flac I get more than plenty of references:

Does anyone have any good buttons or web banners for SuSE?

I searched the Novell site for official buttons and only found these horribly
lame animated GIFs:

Something like these buttons for Firefox and OpenOffice would be great:
