[SLE] Firefox crashes on Print or P/Preview and Audacity crash

Is anyone having problems with Firefox crashing when you try to do a
print preview or even a simple print? I am on Suse 10.1 and I have all
updates patched as far as I know... Firefox is 1.5.0.4.
On an off topic I have problems with Audacity crashing when you try to
preview an effects sample.. In addition it claims that it cannot access
audio resources.. An Ubuntu forum has post from those who think that
it's a conflict with the system sounds and that shutting down the ESD
daemon will fix it... (not really, just a workaround that kills system
sounds when you get right down to it)
Hope someone has a few suggestions...
