Thanks for your reply, Kevin.
The information you gave, is just what I was looking for. So, the
Linux Magazine DVD seems to be the final version and not a beta
version. That's good news!
I'll install 10.1 from the cover DVD, install Smart, and look at the
other packages as you suggest.

The information you gave, is just what I was looking for. So, the
