I received a call today from an other Consulting firm.  They are using
SUSE Linux 10.0 and tried to get online updates.  When they choose Online
update from the yast2 menu they get an error that can not get mirrors or
some such message and to check connection.  I had them click ignore and
then enter

http://suse.mirrors.tds.net/pub/suse/

as a user defined mirror and they were able to get the updates.


This is the error they get from /var/log/YaST2/y2log

What can be done to get this system to be able to get the US locations?
Is there a file I can copy from a working system to theirs to get the
online update to not fail.  DNS is working.  I thought this maybe what was
causing the problem but I am able to ssh, traceroute and ping destinations
by name from their system.  Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
