Hello,
I need to set up on my suse 10.1 personal workstation a local IMAP server.
This is because I need to experiment with several muas (Kmail and Mutt
to begin with) and the only way considered safe to not mess with
mailboxes is to have them handled by this IMAP server. I already have
a perfectly working email setup typical for home desktops: fetchmail
+ local postfix + procmail + bogofilter.
So, what do you recommend as the best IMAP server for this case:
use only as local server
simpler setup and configuration
security
smoothest migration, meaning as little reconfiguration as possible
from my current configuration for downloading email from my ISP,
filtering spam and sorting the rest in different folders?
TIA,
Marco
