So do you think then that (X86_64) means it's detected it's running on an 64bit O/S but is actually only a 32bit app?
Yes! You are running the i686 (32-bit/36-bit PAE) version of Firefox. You are _not_ running the x86-64 (48-bit/52-bit PAE) version. Is there a document out there on how YaST handles selection of select i586/i686 packages under x86-64, _including_ ensuring _updates_ are handled? This is one of the reasons I'm leaving Fedora Core x86-64, Red Hat doesn't bother to include things like Firefox built to 32-bit for x86-64 (even though it does HelixPlayer and others). -- Bryan J.
