Did you sync first?

Is the gear in question ATA/SATA/RAID in any way? How did you do your partitions?

maybe you are doing a reset right at the wrong time?

I been seeing quite a few reiserfsck on this end. I am running 10.0 on an athlon 64 laptop in 32 bit, use a 60G and had Yast barf on me twice.

The rpm tables got corrupted.
Had reiserfs errors, then had to do a rpm -rebuilddb. Got two good saves but I may yet lose my data.

I kill my laptop with LimeWire and the dvd players. Oh well.

Hi. Have had to perform this twice this week. It worked but it's worrying to
say the least as we run a 24/7 server here. Could this be the end of the disk
perhaps? Both times were after a SuSE YOU update. I'm on 10.0

Advice? Steve.
