If you're hooking up 6 drives anyway, why are you worried about the
motherboard/CPU power consumption? Seems a little contradictory.
Other than that - 486s are are not the latest nor the greatest, and in
comparison to todays CPUs, they use very little power.

If you're hooking up 6 drives anyway, why are you worried about the
