Now I need help finding where I can enable SSH and Telnet.
As has already been stated -do not use telnet- as it is NOT safe to use. Of course if you want someone to hack/break into you machine use it, that is your choice. First check to see if ssh is running with ps auxww|grep ssh|grep -v grep If it is not then rcsshd start and insserv sshd to have it start at boot time. If it is running then recheck the modem/router to make sure the appropriate ports are open (22 tcp & udp). Once you get ssh working scp (Secure CoPy) will also work.
