Hi experts, if anyone came across one of the issues below and knows how to fix them, please let me know. 1. I run 9.3 on IBM laptop with wireless and gig ethernet adapters and use to put it to standby mode frequently. For standby to work ok, I had to modify /etc/sysconfig/powermanagement to unload wireless modules. Wireless adapter is typically eth0 and gig eth is eth1 but sometimes for some reasons they get swapped and wireless is eth1. In such situation after standby laptop freezes. How can I make sure wireless adapter is always eth0. 2. This IBM laptop supports 1600 x 1200 resolution and I had to use it to have system fonts look good. With lower resolution fonts were horrible. Issue is that with 1600 x 1200 Mozilla and Firefox do not display most of the web pages correctly, headlines are overlaped or I can see top or bottom hapld of the line. I googled quite a few links how to tune fonts but none of that helped. 3. I have another IBM laptop running 9.1. I'd like to update it to 9.3 but yast2 system update offered 9.2 automatically. Is there a way to go directly to 9.3 or do I have to do it in 2 steps? Thanks, Martin --------------------------------- Yahoo! Mail Bring photos to life! New PhotoMail makes sharing a breeze.
