Just received a hard drive for my laptop. Came with SuSE 10.0 pre-installed.
Where did you get this? What company? Thanks.
Linuxcertified.com Very nice folks!
If I open Konqui and go to a folder in my home directory, open that folder, and then click view >> preview from the top bar, I am presented with a list of file types that can show icon previews.
**Missing** from among those file types offered is "video files." So presently all of my video clips show only a generic icon, and I am not given the option of turning on/off video file previews.
Conversely, on my desktop, running SuSE 9.3, I am given the option of turning on/off video files, and so all of my video clips show a small image (I guess this is a thumbnail?) of what's on the clip.
So....
Under SuSE 10.0 how can I get "video files" to be a displayed option in the list of possible previews?
KDE Control Center, Desktop, Behavior, File Icons tab.
Nope. "video files" is not an option that's offered here. It is offered in 9.3. Gil
