I don't know if you have had any direct replies. I noticed a couple of items missing from the multimedia section, namely, k3b and volume control. However, they were there in the editor. I moved the volume control to another location and then did a save, and then everything was back. I moved the volume control back to it's original location and it has remained visible. I've got a feeling there are items missing from other sections but I haven't checked it out as yet. My guess is that either something has got overwritten or a config file failed to be created during the update. Don't know, haven't checked anything out, just guesses at the mo. Hope that helps. I have tried to create some custom K-Menu entries and although they show in the editor they will not show in the menu tree. Is there some setting blocking the ability of a user to add menu items? I also have Codeweavers CXO installed and the user K-Menu items associated with that app do not show as well.
