All;
I want to create a dvd image from a data DVD. If I use k3b and try to use the cd copy dialog it complains that I have a dvd inserted into th drive and wands a CD. Anyone know how to create a DVD image from a data dvd (preferrably via k3b but not required) ?
You should do File>New Project>New data dvd-project in K3b for a data dvd project. This brings up a dialog where you can choose what to put on your data dvd and you just choose the files from the DVD in the dvd player. This only works for a data dvd BTW; if you want a copy of a video dvd you have a whole can of worms to open. Most notably you have to *own* the dvd to do so legally and secondly the data most probably won't fit, because the source dvd is double-layered. But you said data dvd, so there won't be a problem.
