No, that doesn't look like it. Here's what I have. I have six Linux servers currently running Slackware (which I hate) that I would like to convert to Suse 10. I have one box already running Suse 10, but it was kind of a pain to install because I couldn't get the FTP install to work (servers were always WAY too slow and/or busy) and swapping five CDs out isn't exactly my idea of quality time spent. So my idea was to set up a local FTP server, do whatever I need to do with the source CDs (just copy them into the directory?) and then point to it for installation. I can also then use this as an install source for Yast so that adding/removing programs later on is easier. -----Original Message----- From: Kenneth Klein [mailto:kklein9@uky.edu] Sent: Tuesday, March 07, 2006 12:56 PM To: Drew Burchett Subject: Re: [SLE] local repository Are you looking for something like this http://www.novel.com/coolsolutions/feature/15239.html Drew Burchett wrote:
I'm sure that I've looked right over the directions for this, but could someone please tell me how to take my five install CDs and create a local repository?
