Hi, Dennis:
I think it would be good to know how you are accessing this Win partition. It
coud be:
1. Dual boot.
2. Win4Lin (Essentially a Linux filesystem)
3. VMWare
4. A windows box through samba.
I can try 2 - 4. Not 1. So let me know if I can validate your question.
