So it is possible that a laser printer can have the same type of chips.
I'm sorry for being pedantic but laser printers use toner not ink.
Anyway, the Tectonix printers are much nicer :-) The last I heard was that they replaced the solid wax pigment blocks free of charge for the lifetime of the printer with those. It may only have been the black wax block though.
And you are saying it is *not* possible to have a microchip on a toner cartridge that counts the pages?? I think you are wrong.
No. I have not said that anywhere in my post. I have not even hinted at that. I simply pointed out my admitedly pedantic view that a laser printer uses toner which is a powder not liquid ink. I don't normally get tetchy but when I am accused of something that I blatantly have not said I think I can be forgiven for getting ever so slightly upset :-) -- ============================================== I am only human, please forgive me if I make a mistake it is not deliberate. ============================================== Xmas may be over but, PLEASE DON'T drink and drive you'll make it to the next one that way.
