I don't know if it has been asked before, but sorry if it has.
I would love to have a mailing list where we could track bugzilla tickets.
When I was a Mandriva user (bad times) they had (still have) something called "bugmail" (I think it's plugin to bugzilla) that sends a message to "cooker" mailing list (sort of "opensuse-factory" list) for every little change on every little ticket.
I think it's quite neat to have this kind of feature, since people interested in tracking any bugs could have an easy way for doing it instead of having to run complex queries on the web site. Since this could generate some big amount of mail from time to time (specially during initial beta testing or right after a release), it would be wise to have a separated mailing list (so you won't force anybody to read).
We discussed this somewhen in the past, but as of now didn't implement something to get this functionality. It's definitely something nice to have(tm), but I'd suggest to postpone this to the post CODE10 time (i.e. when SUSE Linux 10.1 and SLES / SLED 10 are done). Regards Christoph
