Hi--
Asus mobo has Boadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet built in. It does not work with 10.0 off the cd. Does anybody know where I can find a driver for it, and then, what do I have to do to install it? (I'm pretty sure it worked with 9.1 or 9.2, whichever I had last.)
TIA, doug
After quite a search, including going to the Asus site, I _may_ have an answer. The following came just a few minutes ago: http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet_nic/faq_drivers.php#25 I had gone to the ASUS site a little while ago. They have boards that supposedly are optimised to run on Linux, but mine is too old for that. (It's only a 2.41 GHz board.) Just passing on the info of what may be a messy search. --doug -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
