I then used kde-config and got a reply /opt/kde3 Then I used ./configure and got the same message as before. What went wrong? I also used ./configure --prefix=/opt/kde3 but the system still complaints that: checking for KDE... configure: error: in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail. So, check this please and use another prefix! Need surely your help to solve this one.
