sorry http://en.opensuse.org/User:A_jaegerAndreas J , and others but now i'm confused, but what gives with Xgl and 10.1 please?
is it in 10.1 as per the earlier public release message or out as per the status meeting minutes
or have I got the SuSE10.1 and opensuse 10.1 releases mixed up
thanks, keep up the good work AND this communication channel
scsijon ps I don't seem to have any data on : http://www.opensuse.org/xgl just a page format, but I do on http://en.opensuse.org/Xgl .
I thought it was just a set of optional packages for the adventurous.
Correct. It will be part of the FACTORY tree and not part of the ISO images.
From the meeting yesterday, you can gather that the product isn't mature enough to be included in the distribution itself. My guess is that it will remain an optional download for those that are interested, but not recommended for production systems.
