It was never supported ;-). We only added it as experimental filesystems - you could e.g. not add it via the yast partitioner.
I know what you mean ("not supported" from a commercial point of view), but the kernel had some Reiser4 capabilities and the user space tools were there as well - I would call that also a kind of support ;-)

OK. It's a bit unlikely that there are many people using Reiser4 at the moment, so it should not be a big deal... I really appreciate when the SUSE kernel is closer to the vanilla kernel - we had sometimes annoying problems with kernel "features" added by SUSE (I'm not talking about bug fixes etc. here).
