google.com/linux is your friend:
SuSE 9.3 keeps whining when I try to access my DVD drive as a user. It
tells me only root can mount /dev/dvd on /media/dvd.
Before I start attacking fstab, here's the fstab entry for the entry:
/dev/dvd /media/dvd subfs
noauto,fs=cdfss,ro,procuid,nosuid,nodev,exec,iocharset=utf8 0 0
Am I right in assuming all I need to do is add "users" to the string
and I'll magically let me access my own data ??
----------------------------------------
and the answer is YES, add users..
