HI Paul,
Thanks for the input. However the problem is not K3B "whining" about the
R/W status of my dvd rather it is the fact that when I start the burn
function, K3B runs cdrecord but nothing else happens - i.e. cdrecord started
by the user "con" (thru k3b) does nothing whereas cdrecord started by root
works.
