for security, but the kernel changes after 2.6.8 cause non-root to not
work. Now, it has to be non suid to work as a non root. The k3b site
has some info about this. Check to make sure it is not suid.
here is my fstab entry:
dev/cdrecorder /media/cdrecorder subfs
noauto,fs=cdfss,ro,procuid,nosuid,nodev,exec,iocharset=utf8 0 0
