*All* SUSE kernels have sound support enabled, it wouldn't make sense
otherwise. I just looked and snd-es1370 *is* present.

Seems like you either built the drivers against the wrong kernel or against
an unconfigured kernel.

Anything whose specification is too complicated to explain easily probably
needs to be redesigned.
