Hello to all on the list from Adam in NYC
I am running SuSE 10.0 (32 bit install) on an emachines M6805 Athlon 64.
My 64,000 dollar question is:
How can you dual-boot on a pre-existing filesystem and how can you do it? Actually I am using GRUB and I have Windows XP 32 Home installed on it.
Can you re-use the same root system for the 64 bit kernel? I have been using the Ubuntu LiveCD for A64 and it runs great. However, it does not have the tohd= and fromhd= options from Knoppix installed.
2nd question is: How can you, using GRUB, boot off of an CD ISO on the root filesystem? If so, how and if you have a URL, please point the way.
If I can't do it one way, I am trying to do it the other way.
Thanks in advance.
