It may be able to, but if you want to use 8.2 by all means go ahead. I keep a
copy here too. It was a great OS. However, there are no longer any security
updates to it, so REALLY make sure you lock it down, and for sure don't put
it on the internet without a hardware firewall in front of it.

You're asking to install from a LAN so you probably have a Router or
something, and most come with a firewall, so at the least don't put it in the
DMZ, or on the net without something in front of it.

Heh, I have screen shots of my 8.2 running for 66 days without a reboot. Great
OS :)

I have 9.3 Professional on this box which is a Pentium 3 733 with 384 RAM and
it uses KDE, Gnome, Enlightenment, Window Maker and text / init 3 lol.
