Take a look at
http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=HP-LaserJet_1200
My printer also has a USB adapter that connects to the printer's parallel
port. Yours may have it also. Try that too, if available.

Take a look at
http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=HP-LaserJet_1200
My printer also has a USB adapter that connects to the printer's parallel
port. Yours may have it also. Try that too, if available.
