Hi all,
We have a discussion going on the Gimp list that I'm trying to track
down some answers. Seems a new user to SuSE 9.2 that uses Gimp is
missing a couple of Perl plugins he used previously. A couple of
things I'm not sure about, since I haven't yet gotten word on the name
of the plugins he's mentioned (one is a glow feature, the other, center
layer).
One, is the plugin still there but under a different part of the menu or
under another name, but not in perl any longer? The second, will it
still work under Gimp 2.x, since the last time I saw gimpperl supplied
was SuSE 9.0 and using Gimp 1.2/1.3.
The next question I have here is this. Does the new Gimp need gimpperl
to run perl plugins in SuSE's Gimp? Is gimpperl even needed any longer
or is it's function compiled in SuSE's Gimp?
TIA,
Lee
