About 7 months ago, I was doing a lot of ripping of CD's that I had made myself from older LP records. Since they were homemade, there wasn't the normal information that a CD would have so that grip could access the CDDB databases. Thus I was left with a bunch of files that were ripped but the filenames were not descriptive.
There was a utility I used at the time that would allow you to type in a search keyword and it would look up the keyword in the CDDB database.
I used Amarok for much of this. It picked up stuff from both CDDB and MusicBrainz. I had several hundred files which weren't correctly cataloged. -- kai www.perfectreign.com linux - genuine windows replacement part
