Thanks for the info. I hadn't done anything on this yet and don't plan to
until tomorrow, so I hadn't tried modifying the modprobe.conf file yet.
I'll try your suggestion of adding it to the blacklist first. Seems to be a
cleaner approach than commenting out lines in modprobe.conf (in that you're
specifying a specific override in a file that is set up for specifying
overrides).
