OK, I just saw the link you posted. The extension of the file is .mov which is a strong clue that it's Apple Quicktime. Install the libquicktime package and you should be able to play it. It's available in both 32 and 64 bit formats, choose the one that matches your player
Many times the 'file' command will correctly parse such content. Safer than relying on an extension.
That presupposes that you can waste the time and diskspace waiting for bittorrent to download enough of the file header for magic to do its thing Which I couldn't. Damn slow download
