Hi all. I just installed SUSE 10. I decided to boot on runlevel 3, and so I use "startx" command to boot on my default Window Manager (which is KDE). What's the comamnd to use when I want to boot Gnome or the just installed XFCE?
startx /path/to/exe for example startx /usr/X11R6/bin/gnome
And will this command affect my future startx boot on default WM?
No, to change the default, edit /etc/sysconfig/windowmanager and change the value of the WINDOWMANAGER variable
