I disagree. If Novell do actually anounce that they drop KDE, then that is the time to really speak up and tell them what you think of it. OpenSUSE is supposed to be a community project and the comminuty should give input on things happening there.
Tell ya what, why don't you show me how easy it is. Write a class editing widget that modifies both the interface and the implementation, taking into account the baseclass hierarchy as well as the current scope. Provide scope aware code completion in the widget, and synchronize the comments with the code.
