Hi,
I want to define events in log files (e.g., a new record that matches a regular expression) and define commands that shall be executed when such events occur. Ideally, that tool should be coordinated with logrotate.
Once, SUSE 9.0 had logsurfer for that task. That disappeared in 9.1 or 9.2. Is there any new tool in SUSE 10.0 that delivers the same functionality?
If there ain't one, do you know tools that are better than logsurfer?
