Not to sound facetious... user error? I've had the same issue several times with my 600m, but I've actually been able to track myself just ever so slightly caressing the touchpad with either a stray finger or my palm.
Does that help? -- kai ponte www.perfectreign.com
linux - genuine windows replacement part
Some touchpad drivers --mine, for instance-- are so sensitive as to register pressure within 3/4" of the touchpad. The pointer won't change position unless said pointer is elsewhere in the same page in which I'm typing. Otherwise, only the focus gets changed and one is typing in a new window, or wasting key strokes because the area won't accept input. I have to really watch that ...or turn off the touchpad. Fortunately, there is a handy switch for that purpose. -- ...Yogich
