but you and BP are both using gnome, right? I am using KDE. and it also does not work for me in gnome. It does the same thing, does not allow me to add songs to the playlist.
Oh, you're really not paying attention, are you?
By that I was alluding to the whole "Novell's dropping KDE" brouhaha.
wha? you sent this: xmms-kde-3.1-57 -- BP xmms-kde-3.1-57 -- P.C. xmms-kde -- R.S; is not installed
so.. I thought that says xmms for KDE is not installed.
Look at what xmms-kde actually is: "This is a small applet to control XMMS. It docks in the KDE panel (Kicker). This package also includes an aRts output plug-in, so that XMMS can play sounds through the aRts server. " In fact, after reading Lee's mail, I did install that package. But still no MP3 play from xmms (nor would I expect that package to make a diffference, but sometimes unexpected interactions occur).
I'll never use Gnome. I'd rather fight than switch, if you catch my drift...
I tried it, and went back to KDE. looks like a 3 foot snow drift to me:)
Interesting. I don't know what that means...

Would you consider taking the "Reply-To:" header out of your email to this list?
not a problem.
Gee. Thanks. I was expecting a "take a hike" / "learn how to use your email client" response.
