I've got this very odd issue where primarily windows clients only see a fraction of the availible bandwidth to them. Usualy no more than 140 Kbits while Linux clients will usualy see the full 100mbits (if the client pipe is capable ). I have posted to the SUSE forums and have had limmited response. The post can be read http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de/index.php?showtopic=24716 there. All other relevant info for the box is found here . http://64.18.130.66/ along with a test file for any one who wants to test this issue for themselves...... the 10 meg.zip is harmless and worthless and nothing more than a simple hexdump to a file till it grew to that size and is what i use for speed tests. I have looked over everything (and am no linux newbie myself having run redhat since version 5) and had several "linux gurus"do the same so far every one who's looked at this issue is totaly stumped. So any one who can figure this one out man kuddos. However there is one stipulation here this machine is a web server for my hosting company and clients are complaining so this issue is critical and must be fixed soon otherwise I must format the machine and re-install. I've been putting this off for several days in hopes of finding a solution but the time factor is pressing. Sincere thanks for your attention to this matter. -Josh Harris
