How do you set Firefox to use Thunderbird as default mail ?
You should register Thunderbird as default url-handler for mailto links. This can be done within gconf-editor or by using the menu in Thunderbird prefs.
I can't find anything like that neither in Thunderbird nor in Firefox prefs. Can you please explain it in detail?
I'm not sure anymore if it works in 1.0.x correctly. So just use gconf-editor to set it.
desktop -> gnome -> url-handlers -> mailto
put in /usr/bin/thunderbird %s
Thanks, that works fine. The old value was /opt/thunderbird/thunderbird %s or something like that. Where did that come from? The directory doesn't even exist, it's called MozillaThunderbird...!?
