My 0.02 cents:

- SUSE-CD-i386.iso => Installation CDs
- SUSE-DVD-i386.iso => Installation DVD
- SUSE-DVD-biarch.iso => Double layer DVD
- SUSE-DVD-Live.iso => Live distro
- SUSE-DVD-x64.iso => DVD 64 bit version

In general:

SUSE-<media>-<arch>.iso

In my opinion it it easier and you'll avoid tons of mails asking what to 
download for their architecture...

Anyway, SUSE 10 is great, and that's the only important thing...
