I have my DocumentRoot in apache pointing to /home/castelo/public_html. It had
been working just fine, but then I took two actions (trying to solve an
unrelated problem) that seem to have screwed things up:
I activated Novell app armor (which then I proceded to deactivate), and I ran
the HTTP server config from Yast (which is what I think really did some sort
of trick on apache). I didn't modify anything else.
Now, when accessing the web root, I get: Error 403, access forbidden!. I can
still access /srv/www/htdocs (which I alias to /system).
Some more info:
in /etc/apache2/default-server.conf:
DocumentRoot "/home/castelo/public_html"
in /etc/apache2/conf.d/castelo.conf
