Hello, list,
I know I can start services directly by invoking the appropriate init script in /etc/init.d, but does SUSE have an analog to the Red Hat "service" utility? For example, On Red Hat/Fedora, I could say:
/sbin/service postfix start
to start Postfix. Has SUSE an equivalent?
Kind of. Just put an 'rc' in front of the service name: rcpostfix start -- Bart Whiteley
