Hi, I have a NFS-server running on SUSE 9.3; the machine is running on runlevel 3. My problem is, that the clients (SUSE 9.x) don't get "notified", when the server get's turned off and are blocked while user(s) opening the shared folders. In fact all of the shared folders get mounted automatically on all of the clients with 'defaults', I wonder if there would be a way to trigger the umounting of the respective folders, when the master shuts down. This "problem" happened just last night, when my girly turned off the server via ssh and I still tried to access its resources... Thanks, Pelibali Ps. How could I find out, what SUSE exactly understands on "defaults" in NFS fstab-entries?! If I understand correctly, e.g. "users, defaults" would be still OK there...
