Where in here is the printing bit you are referring to? I guess it is
going to be something like the remote system finds a local printer and
prints locally? I would imagine that something with SAMBA would allow
this as SAMBA would allow the remote Windows system to get needed
drivers for the local Linux printer. A remote Linux box trying to use a
local printer may also be possible. I bet the biggest problem would be
the ports used by the various printing systems. If they are not sent
with the desktop stream, they may be blocked.

I would imagine there are near solutions that, as is usually the case,
need proper configuration.
