Hi all, I am trying to install SuSE 9.3 on a HP Proliant DL360. It only has a CD ROM and no IDE connectors so I cannot add an IDE DVD ROM. The machine has a Xeon 3.4GHz processor so I want to install the 64bit version and must use a USB DVD drive to do this. Every time I try to install, it goes to the Installation setting screen and then tells me “No source found at ‘cd:///;devices=/dev/hdc,/dev/hdd,/dev/sr0’.” The USB DVD drive is /dev/sr0. The system booted from the USB DVD drive. Doing an installation media check (using this same USB DVD drive on the same machine) confirms that the DVD has no issues. It also loads the USB Mass storage device driver. We had the 32bit version of SuSE 9.1 installed on this machine and thought this might be the cause. We then removed the partitions using the expert options in the partitioning setup. Any ideas on how I can get the 64 bit version of SuSE 9.3 installed?
