I am trying to install SuSE 9.3 on a HP Proliant DL360. It only has a CD ROM and no IDE connectors so I cannot add an IDE DVD ROM.
See this blog entry to see if it helps any:

Thanks Marc. I could use that as a base to get the system installed.
I now have another issue, in that the machine cannot boot from the hard disk.
When I boot from the USB DVD it and select boot from hard drive it works fine, but without this I get a DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER message.
I have gone into yast and reconfigured the boot loader with default settings (tried LILO and GRUB). I told it the rewrite the MBR and even tried the different partitions. I have a 100M EXT2 partition mounted to /boot.
In trying to fix this, I have now gone and deleted to /boot partition. I then recreated it and setup the boot loader again using yast. Now I cannot boot the hard drive at all - even when using the "Boot installed system" option on the DVD boot menu. When booting the Rescue system on the DVD I mount /dev/hda1 (which is the boot partition). It is empty. Albert -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
