Hi, I've posted on this before (no responses), so I'll try again. I'm noticing that using Gnome under SuSE 10 is not something you'd want to do. In short, at completely unpredictable time intervals one of either gnome-panel, gnome-settings, gnome-vfs-daemon or nautilus will suddenly jump to using 100% of the CPU (and the system grinds to a halt). I've reported this bug via Gnome's bugzilla, and was wondering whether anyone had seen similar behaviour on their machines? Or had any suggestions on how to fix it. It should be noted that this is on an AMD64 machine. Cheers, Jon -- Jonathan Brooks (Ph.D.) Research Assistant.
